A new military holiday has appeared in Ukraine: who will be honored on June 11

A new military holiday has been officially introduced in Ukraine – the Day of Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is stated in the decree of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky No. 485/2026.
According to the document, the new holiday will be celebrated every year on June 11.
The decree was adopted to establish new military traditions and honor the role of the Unmanned Systems Forces in protecting the state.
“To establish in Ukraine the Day of Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to be celebrated annually on June 11,” the text of the decree states.
The document also notes that the decision takes into account the contribution of the Unmanned Systems Forces units to the fight for the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The decree enters into force on the date of its official publication.
