The new virtual mobile operator U Mobile, launched by Ukrtelecom, has officially started operating in Ukraine.U Mobile has officially started operating in Ukraine:.

This was reported by the company’s press service.

The Simka tariff line is currently presented in two options – 15 and 60 GB of mobile Internet per month. Both packages include 500 minutes for calls within Ukraine and 15 SMS.

The cost of the “Seven 15” tariff is 360 UAH per month, and “Seven 60” – 400 UAH. Payment can be made immediately for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. When registering for a longer subscription period, the monthly cost will be lower.

Oleg Boyko, director of TRIMOB LLC, which provides mobile communication services under the U Mobile brand, explained that the tariffs were created taking into account how user habits have changed.

“We built Simka tariffs around a habit that has already become the norm: most people first write in a messenger and only then make calls, increasingly using the same messengers for this. Therefore, Simka is a response to changing user behavior, and not another package with minutes that “burn” unused,” he noted.

The tariff is calculated for a full calendar month. After purchasing and activating a physical SIM card or eSIM, the service becomes available immediately, but the paid period begins on the first day of the following month.

The “Simka 60” tariff is also available as part of the “Optics+Simka” offer from Ukrtelecom. The package includes U Mobile mobile communication and non-volatile optical Internet with a speed of up to 1 Gbps. The user receives one bill for both services.

The “Simka” starter package can be purchased in the U Mobile online store. Subscribers of other operators can port their number to U Mobile and receive a 15% discount on the first selected subscription period. You can also order a new number.

It was previously reported that a pilot fifth-generation (5G) mobile communications network has begun operating in Kyiv. After successful testing of the technology in Lviv, Borodyanka, and Kharkiv, it has also been tested in the capital.
