A new type of deferral will appear in “Reserve+”: who can use it and how to apply

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the appearance of a deferral for another category of the population in the “Reserve+” application.

This was reported by the press service of the department.

“Soon, a new opportunity will appear in the Reserve+ mobile application — applying for a deferment from mobilization online for parents of children with disabilities, regardless of the child’s age,” the message says.

The Ministry of Defense is currently launching beta testing of the service, which is open to parents of a child with a disability under the age of 18 and parents of an adult child with a disability.

At the same time, the ministry reminded of the algorithm of actions for obtaining a deferral: you need to submit a request to “Reserve+”, then the system checks the grounds through interaction with the necessary state registers, and if confirmed, the deferral is granted, and information about this is displayed in the electronic military document.

As a reminder, Ukraine may introduce a new basis for deferring mobilization. The initiative provides for exemption from conscription for citizens who have sheltered at least two internally displaced persons free of charge.
