A new wave of evacuations has been announced in the Kharkiv region: list of communities

The mandatory evacuation zone in Kharkiv region has been expanded due to the threat of a worsening security situation. The new decision applies to settlements in Kupyansky, Bogodukhovsky and Kharkiv districts.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.

According to him, the relevant decision was made during a meeting of the regional Defense Council with the participation of heads of law enforcement agencies, rescuers, military personnel, and heads of district military administrations.

“We are taking into account the possible aggravation of the security situation in border and frontline communities,” said Synegubov.

In the Shevchenkivsk community, mandatory evacuation was announced for residents of 41 settlements, including the village of Shevchenkivsk and surrounding villages.

Evacuation will also be carried out in 12 settlements in the Bogodukhov district, including the villages of Ulyanivka and Zarichne, as well as a number of villages.

In addition, in the Dergachiv community, mandatory evacuation, as well as forced evacuation of children, was introduced in the villages of Pytomnyk, Novye, Slatyne and the villages of Ruska Lozova, Solonyi Yar, Bezruky and Leschenky.

The head of the OVA urged residents not to delay their departure.

“I urge residents of certain settlements not to neglect their own safety and to evacuate,” Sinegubov emphasized.

He added that the evacuation will be carried out jointly with volunteers, law enforcement officers and rescuers. People will be taken to transit centers, where they will be able to receive humanitarian, psychological, legal and financial assistance.

As a reminder, the mandatory evacuation of residents from a number of border settlements began in Chernihiv region on July 1. The corresponding decision was made by the regional Defense Council at the request of the military.
