A new wave of magnetic storm is approaching Earth: how to protect yourself

After several days of geomagnetic calm, the planet could be hit by another magnetic storm. Scientists are warning of the impact of another solar mass ejection, which is already heading towards Earth.
This is evidenced by meteoagent data.
According to the forecast of specialists from the British Geological Survey (British Geological Survey, Geomagnetism), a red-level magnetic storm is expected on October 15, 16, and 17.
The reason is one or more coronal mass ejections (CMEs), some of which have a geo-effective orientation, that is, directed towards our planet.
What are the G1 and Kp indices?
G1 is the first level of five on the geomagnetic storm scale. It corresponds to a Kp index of 5 on the nine-point scale used by astronomers and meteorologists.
Such storms are considered weak or moderate, but can affect people with increased weather sensitivity, as well as the operation of GPS and radio communications.
How to protect yourself during a magnetic storm
If you experience headaches, fatigue, or blood pressure drops during increased solar activity, you should follow these simple rules:
Sleep at least 7–8 hours;
Drink plenty of water — at least 1.5–2 liters per day;
Avoid heavy food and alcohol, prefer vegetables and fruits;
Spend more time outdoors, avoid stress and overload.
