A passenger car overturned in the Mykolaiv region: six people were injured, including five children

In Mykolaiv Oblast, a road accident occurred on a field road between the villages of Pokrovske and Chervona Dolyna in the Shyrokivska community, injuring the driver and 5 passengers of the car. Among the injured were minors aged 6, 13, 15 and 17, all 6 people were hospitalized.

This is reported by the police of the Mykolaiv region.

The accident occurred at around 7:55 p.m. According to preliminary data, the 25-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer caused it to roll over.

As a result of the accident, the driver and 5 passengers aged 6, 13, 15, 17 and 19 received injuries of varying severity. The injured were hospitalized to medical facilities.

Police are establishing all the circumstances and causes of the car accident.

Investigators have preliminarily classified the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Violation of road traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles.”

As a reminder, a fatal road accident involving a passenger minibus and a truck occurred in the Mykolaiv region. Nine people died and eight more were injured as a result of the accident.
