A pediatrician from Okhmatdet won the Queen of Ukraine 2025 competition.

This year’s national competition, “Queen of Ukraine,” was held in a chamber format, highlighting not only the beauty but also the strength of Ukrainian women.

Women from around the world participated in the casting—from the UK and Italy to Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, and France. Some of them were forced to flee their homes by the war. But despite the pain of loss and trials of fate, they retained their most important traits—a strong heart and pride in their country. Only five made it to the grand finals.

Ahead of the title ceremony, a special meeting of the finalists took place at the Galushka cultural center, a center dedicated to modern Ukrainian cuisine. In a warm and sincere atmosphere, this event became a symbol of unity and a shared home for each of the girls, wherever they were.

“We strive to return to our roots—to our culture, language, traditions, to the image of the female guardian who embodies the life and strength of the people,” emphasizes the president of the national competition.  Natalia Kovaleva. 

The winner was Maria Kolotilo, a 23-year-old child psychologist from the Okhmatdet clinic in Kyiv. She is a graduate of the O. A. Bogomolets National Medical University.

The final took place within the walls of the academic theater, and the contestants’ looks were created by Ukrainian designer Oksana Polonets.

The winners will compete in the international pageants Miss Grand International, Miss Model of the World, Miss Planet, and Miss Grand Universe. They will represent Ukraine, proving that true beauty is strength, spirituality, and love for one’s homeland.
