A policeman from the Carpathian region died at the front

In Donetsk Oblast, while carrying out a combat mission, Inspector of Platoon No. 2 of Company No. 1 of the Special Purpose Police Battalion (rifle) of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Police Major Yevhen Rubanyak, was killed.

Earlier, on the night of Friday, May 16, a Ukrainian F-16 fighter lost contact while carrying out a combat mission to repel an enemy air attack.

As reported, on April 12, while carrying out a combat mission, the pilot of the F-16 aircraft, 26-year-old Pavel Ivanov, died.
