A powerful earthquake was recorded in the Poltava region.

On September 22, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck the Poltava region. The epicenter of the tremors was located near Poltava.

The Main Center for Special Control reported this.

The earthquake was recorded at 12:49 PM within the Machukhiv community of the Poltava district. The earthquake cell was located at a depth of approximately 3 km.

According to preliminary information, there were no reports of damage to buildings or other consequences of the earthquake.
