A powerful magnetic storm hit Ukraine: how long will it last?

On Friday, June 13, another red-level magnetic storm covered the Earth. Solar activity with a K-index of 5.7 is expected, which corresponds to the red level. Such activity corresponds to strong magnetic disturbances that have a significant impact on humans.

This is reported by the Meteoagent resource.

The peak level of activity is currently forecast for June 13 and 14.

It should be noted that the forecast may change, as solar activity data is updated every three hours.

Magnetic storms are disturbances in our planet’s geomagnetic field. They are caused by streams of charged particles ejected by the Sun.

Weather-dependent people, the elderly, pregnant women and people with chronic diseases may feel worse during this period. The same applies to the elderly, pregnant women and people with chronic diseases. Often during magnetic storms they complain of headaches, dizziness, nausea, joint pain, fatigue and insomnia.

How to protect yourself from magnetic storms:

– walk more outdoors
