A powerful magnetic storm could hit Earth in the coming days. Scientists are warning of increased geomagnetic activity after a powerful solar flare.

According to experts, the magnetic storm will last from May 14 to 16. Its strength may increase to the level of STORM G3, which is considered a fairly strong indicator.

The cause was a coronal mass ejection, a powerful stream of charged particles that the Sun ejected into space after a flare.

Scientists note that increased solar activity with a K-index of 4 is expected on May 13. And the next day, geomagnetic oscillations may intensify.

Magnetic storms can affect not only the operation of communications and electronics, but also people’s well-being. Most often, weather-dependent people complain of headaches, fatigue, irritability, sleep problems, and pressure drops.

Doctors advise getting more rest, drinking enough water, and avoiding stress and excessive physical exertion during this period.

At the same time, experts emphasize that solar activity forecasts may change, as the data is updated every few hours.
