The Sun has become more active again: after a short lull, several powerful X-class flares were recorded on it. This caused an ejection of solar plasma to head towards Earth, which will cause new magnetic oscillations in the coming days.

According to space weather experts from the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, from June 12 to 15, the Earth will be affected by a series of geomagnetic storms of varying strength.

The first increase in activity is expected on June 12. The storm will be moderate. Most people will hardly feel it, but sensitive people may complain of fatigue, a slight headache, or reduced concentration.

The strongest impact is predicted for June 13. The peak of the magnetic storm is expected on this day. Some people may experience blood pressure spikes, severe headaches, sleep problems, and a general deterioration in well-being. Doctors advise avoiding overwork and stress on this day.

On June 14, activity will begin to subside, but the Earth’s magnetic field will still be disturbed. Residual symptoms may include weakness, drowsiness, or irritability.

On June 15, the situation will gradually stabilize, and the geomagnetic field will return to normal.

Experts explain that magnetic storms are caused by streams of charged particles from the Sun. They affect the Earth’s magnetic field and can cause some people to feel unwell.

People at risk include people with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, migraines, pregnant women, and the elderly.

Doctors advise getting more rest on such days, drinking enough water, avoiding alcohol, heavy meals, and excessive exercise, as well as monitoring your blood pressure and sleep patterns.
