Today, April 10, a magnetic storm begins on Earth, which could last at least two days. It is associated with increased solar activity and a powerful stream of charged particles moving from the Sun.

This was reported by the British Geological Survey.

According to scientists, the Earth will be affected by a high-speed flow from a coronal hole on the Sun. This could increase geomagnetic activity to G1–G2 levels.

“This will likely intensify geomagnetic conditions to the levels of G1 and G2 storms,” experts note.

The impact of this phenomenon is expected to last until April 10-11, after which the storm will gradually begin to weaken.

What does this mean for people?

G2 magnetic storms are considered moderate, but their effects can be quite noticeable. People most often complain of headaches, fatigue, drowsiness, pressure drops, and sleep problems.

People who are weather-dependent, as well as those with cardiovascular diseases, react most sensitively.

How to survive a magnetic storm more easily

Doctors advise you to rest more on such days and not to overload your body. It is important to avoid stress and heavy physical exertion.

It is also recommended to drink more water, reduce the amount of coffee and alcohol, spend more time outdoors, and get enough sleep. In case of feeling unwell, it is worth having the necessary medication on hand.
