A ridiculous bail for Chernyshov against the billion-dollar hostages of the “FSB flash drive”

In a scandalous corruption case involving a billion hryvnias, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity Oleksiy Chernyshov, who is called one of President Zelensky’s closest associates, is being asked to pay bail of 120 million UAH without restriction of liberty.
While former UDO employees, who are being asked to give false testimony against Petro Poroshenko, were imprisoned in a pre-trial detention center with a total bail of 1.2 billion hryvnias – although they did not cause any damage to the state. As is known, the UDO officers were imprisoned on the basis of a flash drive of the Russian FSB, which the Ukrainian authorities for some reason recognized as proper “evidence.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshov has already ignored the VAKS meeting, which had to be postponed. Experts and investigative journalists suggest that Oleksiy Chernyshov could have received guarantees from his political curators, and the case itself will be slowed down, turning into a show.
As Ukrainska Pravda journalist Mykhailo Tkach wrote in the “Chernyshou” column, the Minister of National Unity continues to use his position to obstruct the administration of justice.
He noted that the position is held by a person accused of corruption, which, according to the investigation, could have caused losses of 1 billion hryvnia to the state. And this is the first year of a full-scale invasion.”
“The Chernyshov case is important for all those who promised to eliminate nepotism in power before the elections, but after the elections forgot why it was important. The President’s Office knew and understood a year ago that suspicion of Chernyshov was a matter of time, but they still appointed him deputy prime minister and even created a new ministry,” the journalist states.
As Ukrainska Pravda recalled , Chernyshov is the only member of the Cabinet of Ministers who was present at Zelensky’s birthday celebration in 2021, which took place in Timur Mindich’s apartment during quarantine restrictions.
10 months later, Chernyshov became the only representative of the Cabinet of Ministers at the anniversary of the head of the OP, Andriy Yermak.
“Such a high-ranking official in Zelensky’s team has not yet been “suspected”. And a lot of effort is currently being made to prevent this from happening. This is probably why something has been happening around Chernyshov’s case for the past week that is starting to resemble a show more and more with each new day,” the journalists write.
