A Russian drone hit a high-rise building in the center of Sumy: one person was injured

A Russian drone hit a residential high-rise building in the central part of Sumy.

This was reported by the Sumy City Military Administration.

According to the head of the MVA, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, the aggressor purposefully attacked a residential building. Emergency services are working at the scene, and the consequences of the attack are being eliminated.

One victim, an 88-year-old woman, was reported injured and treated at the scene by emergency medical services.

City services and public organizations were involved in the elimination of the consequences. Two schools located near the impact site were prepared for temporary accommodation of residents.

It was previously reported that there were deaths and injuries in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of numerous Russian attacks. The Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Sinelnyky districts were under attack.

As a reminder, on April 9, Russian occupation forces struck Zaporizhia and the region. Powerful explosions were heard in the city, and thick smoke rose above it.
