A Russian drone struck Zaporizhzhia, injuring a child and two men.

On Saturday, June 6, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia. The drone exploded near a shopping center, injuring at least three people, including a 10-year-old boy.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov .

According to him, the strike hit the roof of a supermarket. The explosion caused a fire in an apartment in a multi-story building located across from the impact site.

A 10-year-old boy was injured in the attack, suffering an arm injury. He was hospitalized. The boy’s father was also injured.

The number of injured subsequently rose to three. Medics treated two men, aged 49 and 67, and a ten-year-old boy.

In addition to casualties, the strike caused significant damage. According to preliminary reports, at least eight apartment buildings and a number of non-residential buildings were damaged.

Rescue workers, police, medical personnel, and utility workers are working at the scene. Specialists continue to document the aftermath of the attack and repair the damage.
