A scuffle broke out in the Verkhovna Rada. The participants in the jostling were people’s deputies Oleksiy Goncharenko and Danylo Getmantsev.
Alexey Goncharenko reported this in his telegram.
“I’m throwing Getmantsev out of the stands! It’s a disgrace,” Goncharenko wrote.
“All I want is to make one amendment. They don’t listen to me and turn off the microphone!” Goncharenko added.
Videos from parliament are being published on social networks.
As noted by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the parliamentary hall rejected the “soybean amendment”, but other parliamentarians tried to “manipulate the regulations and push it through anyway”. In particular, according to him, the “servants” decided to include the amendment in the text, and then a scandal began.
“Soybean amendments” are changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine, introduced at the end of 2017. They concerned the procedure for reimbursing VAT (value added tax) on the export of soybeans and rapeseed.
