On Wednesday, September 17, a sharp change in weather will come to Ukraine. An atmospheric front will bring rain and cold weather to most of the western and northern regions, including Kyiv. The rest of the territory will remain sunny and warm.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko on Facebook .

According to her, a significant drop in temperature will occur in the capital. Here, the air will warm up only to +15…+17 degrees during the day, and rain is expected.

“Serious cold snap and rain are expected in Kyiv tomorrow, September 17th. Atmospheric front! Dear meteorologists – possible migraines, twisting and turning of joints, vascular things,” she wrote.

Such synoptic comfort, according to Didenko, is provided by the Oldenburgia anticyclone, which “spread out like a big lazy pussy over continental Europe.”

The western regions, the north (except Sumy region), Vinnytsia, Odesa, western regions of Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi regions with districts will be in the humid and cool zone. +15…+19 degrees are forecast there.

At the same time, warm and sunny weather will remain in the eastern and most southern regions, as well as in the Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions – from +20 to +26 degrees.

According to Didenko, the rains will move east on September 18, and the situation will level out on the 19th. The weekend of September 20–21 promises to be sunny and warm throughout the country – up to +23…+27 degrees.
