A soldier made a remark — and suffered a head injury: details of the incident

In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, police detained an 18-year-old local resident who, according to law enforcement officers, hit a serviceman in the head with a bottle after a remark on public transport.

According to police, the incident occurred yesterday on a trolleybus. A 52-year-old serviceman, who was returning home after duty, made a remark to two passengers because of their loud behavior and obscene language.

“In response, the young men engaged in a conflict and continued it at a public transport stop,” the police said.

It was there, according to investigators, that an 18-year-old girl hit a man in the head with a bottle.

The victim was examined by doctors. He was diagnosed with a soft tissue contusion of the head, and a closed craniocerebral injury was also previously diagnosed.

Law enforcement officers detained the attacker. Criminal proceedings have been opened on this fact.

In addition, administrative charges have been filed against the participants in the conflict for petty hooliganism and smoking in prohibited places.
