A powerful coronal mass ejection was recorded on the Sun, which reached Earth on October 27–28, causing an increase in geomagnetic activity. As a result, a series of magnetic storms are observed on our planet, which can affect both technology and people’s well-being.

This was reported by the British Geological Survey, noting that on October 29 and 30, the action of a high-speed solar wind is expected, which comes out of two coronal holes on the surface of the Sun.

Experts predict active periods and episodes of G1–G2 level magnetic storms, which may cause short-term disruptions in navigation systems and communications.

Doctors warn that such storms can affect the well-being of weather-dependent people – headaches, insomnia, increased fatigue, and pressure drops are possible.

To reduce the negative impact of magnetic storms, doctors advise spending more time outdoors, drinking enough water, avoiding stress, fatty foods, caffeine, and alcohol, and not overexerting yourself.
