A Tesla crashed into a power line in Kharkiv, killing a soldier and a passenger.

A National Guard serviceman and a civilian woman were killed in a car accident in Kharkiv. The State Bureau of Investigation has opened a pre-trial investigation.

As reported by the State Bureau of Investigation’s press service on September 8, the accident occurred on September 5 at around 10:45 pm on Heroiv Kharkiv Avenue.

According to preliminary reports, the serviceman was driving a Tesla and lost control. The car veered off the road and crashed into a power line pole.

The driver and his passenger died on the spot from their injuries.

State Bureau of Investigation investigators are conducting urgent procedural actions and establishing all the circumstances of the accident.
