A transformer from a German thermal power plant was delivered to Ukraine
A transformer from a thermal power plant in the German city of Karlsruhe has been delivered to Ukraine, which will help stabilize electricity supply amid Russian attacks on the energy system.
This was reported by the German Embassy in Ukraine.
The diplomatic mission noted that the transformer has already arrived in Ukraine and will become part of measures to support the country’s energy stability in the face of Russia’s constant attacks on critical infrastructure.
The embassy clarified that the equipment was donated by the Rheinhafen-Karlsruhe Thermal Power Plant. The delivery of the transformer to Ukraine was organized by the German international cooperation company GIZ Ukraine.
It was previously reported that Russian troops have launched another attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The attacks resulted in power outages in a number of regions.
