Ukraine Unveils Cutting-Edge AI Drone: Outperforming Global Competitors with Next-Level Innovation

Members of the Brave1 cluster, in collaboration with the 3rd Assault Brigade, have developed a unique drone equipped with artificial intelligence.

This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

“Ukrainian defense innovations often emerge directly on the battlefield—from the ideas of military engineers and developers. This is exactly the case with the Dolphin Spider. Its development began in the R&D laboratories of the 3rd Assault Brigade,” he said.

According to the minister, the drone can fly over distances exceeding 50 kilometers and is already operational against enemy forces.

Fedorov assured that the Ukrainian drone surpasses foreign counterparts in key performance indicators. He also explained that the UAV can autonomously position itself on the terrain using artificial intelligence algorithms.

The drone’s primary purpose is to ensure reliable communications for strike drones operating deep behind Russian lines.

“Thanks to the Spider, Ukrainian drones appear where the enemy least expects them. The Troika is already destroying air defense systems, logistics hubs, and other high-priority enemy targets with the help of the Spider Dolphin,” the official concluded.

Previously, the Brave1 defense cluster initiated the development of anti-drone rounds, which significantly increase the military’s chances of hitting a moving target.
