In Kyiv, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a local resident who photographed Ukrainian air defense positions and distributed the images on the Internet. The woman was reported to be suspicious and faces up to eight years in prison.
This was reported to the SBU.

According to the investigation, the detainee works for a cleaning company. While traveling through the city, she filmed Ukrainian air defense positions through the windshield of her own car on her phone.

The woman later sent the photos to the administrator of a local Telegram channel and to her friends. The photos were soon distributed by Russian propagandists, using them to justify Russia’s attacks on Kyiv.

The SBU noted that this is the third woman who was exposed in the past week for spreading information about the Defense Forces in the capital.

An examination initiated by the special service confirmed that the publication of classified information about the Ukrainian military harmed the state security of Ukraine.

Investigators informed the defendant of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This concerns the unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which could identify them on the ground, under martial law.

“The security service once again calls on citizens not to take and distribute photos and videos of enemy attacks. In particular, not to publish content that records the location of air defense systems, their combat work, as well as attacks by racists on military facilities and critical infrastructure of Ukraine,” law enforcement officials reported.
