A yellow level of danger has been declared in Kyiv and the region due to the weather

On Saturday, January 3, cloudy weather is forecast in the Kyiv region and Kyiv. Light snow is expected at night, precipitation will stop during the day. Ice will form on the roads at night and in the morning.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Forecasters note that the wind will blow mainly from the southwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The air temperature in the region at night will be 0-5 degrees below zero, during the day it will fluctuate from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero. In Kyiv, 2-4 degrees below zero are expected at night, during the day – around zero.

A warning about dangerous meteorological phenomena has also been announced. On the night of January 3 and in the morning, icy roads will remain. Level I of danger, yellow, is in effect. Weather conditions may complicate traffic on certain sections of roads.
