About 200 billion: how many new coins and banknotes will be put into circulation in Ukraine in 2024-25?

In 2024, banknotes and coins worth a total of 114.7 billion hryvnias were put into circulation in Ukraine, and in 2024, a total of 79.3 billion hryvnias.
The National Bank of Ukraine reported this to Pryamiy .
In 2024, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced into circulation banknotes in denominations of 20 and 1000 hryvnias, as well as coins in denominations of 50 kopecks and 1–10 hryvnias.
In total, almost 474 million pieces of cash were put into circulation over the course of the year, totaling 114.7 billion hryvnias.
For comparison, in 2005, 282.7 million banknotes and coins of various denominations were put into circulation, worth 79.3 billion hryvnia.
