Brazen Attack: Russians Destroy High School in Odesa Region

On Monday, June 23, Russian forces launched ballistic missiles at the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in the Odesa region, destroying a local high school. The attack claimed the lives of two people.

 This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

“Two people were killed in the Russian strike on Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. My sincere condolences to their families and loved ones,” Kiper said.

He noted that as of 3:40 p.m., 12 people had been reported injured.

“Three of the wounded are in serious condition. The others, including two teenagers, are in moderate condition. All necessary medical assistance is being provided,” said the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

It is reported that the Russians fired a ballistic missile at a school. Fortunately, there were no children among the victims, as the school is currently on holiday.

Emergency crews continue working to clear the debris and search for any remaining victims.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also responded to the Russian attack.

By the way, on the night of June 23, the Kyiv region suffered another massive missile and drone strike from Russia. The Buchansky and Bila Tserkva districts were the most affected.
