Actor Yuri Felipenko died in the war
Ukrainian actor and serviceman Yuriy Felipenko died at the front.
The tragic news was reported by his wife Ekaterina Motrich.
She noted that “Yura was, without exaggeration, my world, my soul, my light. It is impossible to convey this loss. It seems like I was destroyed.” She promised to tell all the details of the farewell and the date of the burial later.
With the start of the full-scale invasion, Yuriy joined the 92nd separate assault battalion of the Akhilles BPAK. Before that, he was actively involved in volunteering and helping the Ukrainian military.
Felipenko was a well-known actor at the Kyiv Academic Drama Theater on Podil, and also played the lead role of investigator Andrey in the film “Colors of Passion.” His death is a painful loss for the cultural and defense communities of Ukraine.
