Adult decisions are needed: Poroshenko transferred drones to the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and called on the authorities to urgently appoint key ministers

Petro Poroshenko handed over a batch of drones of various modifications and other equipment for a dozen or so units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, he called on the authorities to ensure the full work of the government and parliament, as well as to appoint a defense minister, a foreign minister, and a head of the Security Service of Ukraine as soon as possible.

This is reported by the website of “European Solidarity”.

According to Poroshenko, during a war, the country cannot remain without the heads of key departments.

“The situation in the country requires adult decisions. During the war, we have neither a defense minister nor a foreign minister. And who did the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, interfere with? He was also removed and they still can’t appoint anyone. People are not being heard. The majority is on vacation,” he said.

Poroshenko emphasized that the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine are appointed by the Verkhovna Rada, so he called on the people’s deputies to urgently return from vacation and make the necessary personnel decisions.

He also noted that Russian troops attack Ukrainian cities every day with drones, missiles, and guided bombs, so the military needs modern equipment and weapons.

According to Poroshenko, this time 200 Blyskavka attack drones, 250 Vyriy fiber-optic FPV drones, 17 DJI Mavic, 66 generators, 83 charging stations, more than 100 Starlink Mini, ATVs, electric bikes, office equipment, and 85 Aspirin drone detectors were transferred to the front. The total cost of the aid is about 28 million hryvnias.

The politician noted that his team allocated 20 million hryvnias for the purchase of Vyriy FPV drones alone, emphasizing support for Ukrainian defense manufacturers.

Separately, Poroshenko said that the amount of aid could have been greater. According to him, if the Supreme Court had overturned the decree on sanctions against him, the military could have received almost twice as much equipment.

“There could have been twice as much of this equipment. If these judges were not guided by telephone law, today the military could have received equipment worth 40 million, not 20 million,” Poroshenko said.

At the same time, he assured that his team will continue to assist the Ukrainian military and support the domestic defense-industrial complex.
