Ukrainian Forces Push 7 Kilometers Beyond Frontline, Liberate Villages Near Dobropillia

The Defense Forces are carrying out counteroffensive operations in the Dobropillia sector, with Ukrainian troops advancing 3 to 7 kilometers deep into enemy-held territory.
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
The defenders of Ukraine regained control over seven settlements and eliminated nine enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
“In total, 160 km² have been liberated during the operation, and another 171 km² cleared of enemy DRG,” said Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
In the Dobropillia sector alone, Russian forces lost 2,456 soldiers, including 1,322 killed. Ukraine’s exchange fund was also significantly replenished.
The enemy additionally lost 817 pieces of weapons and military equipment: 12 tanks, 37 armored vehicles, 162 artillery systems, 5 MLRS, 382 motor vehicles, 58 motorcycles, 160 drones, and one item of special equipment.
It was previously reported that the Defense Forces are conducting counteroffensive actions on the front in the Donetsk region – Pokrovsk and Dobropillia directions.
As a reminder, the Russian occupation troops advanced on four front lines in three regions, and the Defense Forces were successful in the Dobropillia direction.
