Former head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, announced several hours after his dismissal that he was going to the front.
He wrote about this in a message for the New York Post.
“I’m going to the front and I’m prepared for any consequences. I’m an honest and decent person,” Yermak said, without specifying when exactly he plans to go or to which unit.
He also apologized if he couldn’t answer calls anytime soon and complained about the torrent of criticism directed at him. He said he was “sickened by the dirt being thrown at me, and even more so by the fact that I’m not supported by those who know the truth.”
“I served Ukraine and was in Kyiv on February 24, 2024. Maybe we’ll see each other again. Glory to Ukraine,” the former head of the Office of the President added.
Earlier, the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, submitted his resignation.
