After talks at the Eurosatory arms exhibition, Poroshenko hinted at new “surprises” for Russia

After a series of negotiations at the largest international defense industry exhibition Eurosatory 2026 in France, Petro Poroshenko announced new solutions that, according to him, will be a “surprise” for the Russian army.

He announced this on social media.

“This morning began with columns of black smoke and “flying saucers” over Moscow. And while Russia is urgently looking for ways to save fuel for its army and plans to import fuel and lubricants by sea, missiles and naval drones are already waiting for them there,” the fifth President noted.

According to Poroshenko, during the exhibition, his team continues negotiations with leading arms manufacturers.

“We are looking for new solutions that will help the Russian military-industrial complex, refineries, and fleet feel the Ukrainian warmth,” he wrote.

According to Poroshenko, special attention was paid to means of countering Russian air attacks.

“Behind me is the American VAMPIRE with Thales missiles. They fly twice as fast as sound, and it is this kind of weapon that effectively destroys the “shaheeds”. We have had excellent negotiations with Thales and the American side and, perhaps, together with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, we will invest in the joint production of anti-drone missiles,” he said.

Poroshenko also noted Ukrainian manufacturers who presented their developments at the exhibition.

“Until recently, no one had heard of them, but today they are world-class companies with advanced technologies,” he emphasized.

In addition, the fifth President reported that his team is working on improving the Ai-Petri complex.

“There are already several solutions, but without spoilers – let it be a surprise,” Poroshenko noted.
