After the calm, there is a shock: The Earth will be covered by a red-level magnetic storm
Згенеровано ШІ
A G1 (5-point) magnetic storm is approaching Earth, expected on April 18. Until then, April 16–17, the geomagnetic situation will remain calm, and no significant disturbances are predicted.
This is evidenced by data from the British Geological Survey.

Currently, the solar wind is at normal levels, but at the end of April 17, a coronal hole on the Sun will begin to affect the Earth. This is what will cause increased geomagnetic activity.
As a result, a G1-level magnetic storm is expected on April 18 — a 5-point level of activity that is considered weak but can still be felt. During such periods, there may be short-term disruptions in satellite communications and radio signals, and some people may complain of fatigue, headaches, or decreased concentration.
Experts emphasize that this is a natural phenomenon that does not pose a serious threat, but is part of cyclical solar activity.
