After the Russian attack, there are power and heating outages in Zaporizhia

Russian troops struck one of the districts of Zaporizhia today, March 12. Due to damage to the infrastructure, thousands of city residents were left without electricity and heating.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration , Ivan Fedorov.

According to him , 15,958 residential subscribers and 38 legal entities were left without electricity .

Also, 25,473 consumers are currently without heat supply due to damage to networks .

Smoke is rising from the impact site . Rescuers, power engineers , and other emergency services are working at the scene , trying to restore power as quickly as possible .

According to preliminary information, there were no direct casualties from this shelling . However, earlier that day, two patrol police officers were injured by shrapnel in the city .

Local authorities warn that restoration work may be delayed due to the risk of repeated attacks.

As previously reported, Russian occupation forces struck Komyshuvas, in the Zaporizhia region, on Thursday, March 12. One person was injured.
