Air bombs dropped and drone attack: one person killed, 11 injured in Donetsk region

On Thursday, October 9, Russian occupiers shelled Donetsk region, with Sloviansk and Kostyantynivka under attack. As a result, one person was killed and 11 others were injured.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

In particular, in the morning, the enemy dropped three FAB-250 air bombs with UMPK on a residential area in Sloviansk. As a result, seven people aged 45 to 79 were injured – three women and four men.

Instead, in Kostyantynivka, the occupiers attacked a passenger car with an FPV drone. A 58-year-old woman died from the impact, and four other people were injured.

The victims were diagnosed with mine and explosive injuries, craniocerebral trauma, shrapnel wounds, a broken leg, and contusions. The condition of one of the women is assessed as serious.

In addition, more than 40 apartment buildings and private houses and 6 cars were damaged in the cities that came under enemy fire.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Sloviansk and Kostyantynivka district prosecutor’s offices, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes (Part 1, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the report says.

We will remind you that the city of Chornomorsk, Odessa region, and almost all settlements of the Chornomorsk community were completely without electricity after the Russian attack .

Earlier, Russian occupiers attacked the village of Rychne in Zaporizhia region. A drone strike killed a 40-year-old man and caused a fire.
