Relentless but Repelled: 311 Aerial Threats Shot Down

331 Threats in One Night: Russia Hits Ukraine with Drones and Missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

On the night of July 28 (starting at 19:30 on July 27), the enemy launched an attack using 331 air attack vehicles (324 UAVs, 4 cruise missiles, and 3 aeroballistic missiles):

• 324 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of simulator drones launched from the following directions in the Russian Federation: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk;

• 4 X-101 cruise missiles launched from the airspace of the Saratov region, Russian Federation;

• 3 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles launched from the airspace of the Lipetsk region.

The main target of the attack was Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region.

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:30, air defense systems shot down or suppressed electronic warfare systems of 311 enemy air attack vehicles.

• 309 attack UAVs;
• 2 X-101 cruise missiles.

The impact of 2 missiles of different types and 15 attack UAVs was recorded at 3 locations, along with the fall of downed drones (debris) in several areas. The Kh-47M2 aeroballistic missiles did not reach their targets.

Let us recall that on the night of July 28, Kyiv once again became the target of a Russian attack.
