Air Defense Forces Disarm 288 Drones and Three Missiles Used by Russia to Attack Ukraine

Air defense forces neutralized 288 attack UAVs and three Iskander-K cruise missiles that Russia used to attack Ukraine.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
On the night of July 31 (from 18:00 on July 30), the enemy attacked with 317 air attack weapons (309 UAVs, 8 cruise missiles):
- 309 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of simulator drones in the following directions: Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
- 8 Iskander-K cruise missiles from Kursk region, Russian Federation.
The main direction of the attack is the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense shot down/suppressed 291 enemy air attack vehicles:
- 288 attack UAVs;
- 3 Iskander-K cruise missiles.
“Direct hits of 5 missiles (one of them into a residential building in Kyiv) and 21 attack UAVs were recorded in 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (debris) in 19 locations, almost all in the capital,” the military added.
