Air Defense Forces Disarm 60 Drones Used by Russia to Attack Ukraine

Air defense forces neutralized 60 of 84 Russian drones.

This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From 19:00 on Monday, September 8, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 84 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of attack UAVs in the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, more than 50 of them Shahed type UAVs.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 on Tuesday, September 9, air defense shot down/suppressed 60 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.

Hits by 23 attack UAVs were recorded at 10 locations.
