Air Defense Forces Disarm 60 Russian Drones and a Missile

Air defense forces neutralized 60 Russian drones and one Iskander-M ballistic missile.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

On the night of August 3 (from 19:00 on August 2) the enemy attacked with 83 air attack vehicles:

• 76 Shahed type attack UAVs and drone imitators of various types in the following directions: Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, Russian Federation;
• 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile from Bryansk region – Russian Federation;
• 5 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Kursk region;
• 1 X-22 cruise missile from the airspace over the Black Sea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 61 air targets:

• 60 hostile Shahed-type UAVs and drone impersonators of various types in the north, south, east and center of the country.
• 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile.

6 missiles and 16 UAVs were hit in 8 locations, and downed aircraft (debris) were found in 2 locations.
