Air defense forces have destroyed over 9,700 enemy air targets since the beginning of the year

Air defense and aviation of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 9,707 enemy targets during January. In particular, 10 “Caliber”, 9 Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles and 2,725 “Shaheeds”.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During January 2026, the air defense of the Defense Forces destroyed 9,707 air targets:

• 13 X-101 cruise missiles;
• 9 Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles;
• 37 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
• 10 Caliber cruise missiles;
• 4 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles;
• 6 Iskander-K cruise missiles
• 2,725 Shahed attack UAVs;
• 565 reconnaissance UAVs;
• 18185 UAVs of other types.

Also, during January, the Air Force aircraft carried out 614 flights, including:

• about 460 for fighter air cover;
• over 90 – for fire damage and air support of troops.

In January 2026, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 392 air targets: 11 cruise missiles and 381 UAVs. Command posts, logistical facilities, as well as places of accumulation of enemy manpower and equipment were hit.
