Air Defense Forces Neutralize 103 Drones Used by Russia to Attack Ukraine

“On the night of January 28 (from 18:00 on January 27), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region, as well as 146 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Chauda, Gvardiyske – TOT AR Crimea, about 90 of them – “Shaheeds”, – the message says.

It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 103 enemy Shahed, Gerbera UAVs and drones of other types in the north, south, center, and east of the country.

A ballistic missile and 36 strike UAVs were recorded at 22 locations.

“The attack is ongoing, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow safety rules,” the military added.

As a reminder, on January 28, Russian occupation forces attacked the Belogorodsk community in the Kyiv region . An apartment building was damaged. There are fatalities.
