Air defense forces neutralized 103 of the 115 Russian drones used by the Russian Federation to attack Ukraine.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
It was reported that, starting at 9:00 PM on Monday, September 22, Russian forces launched three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 115 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of attack UAVs in the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatal, and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 60 of these were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 on Tuesday, September 23, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 103 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Missile and 12 attack drone hits were recorded at six locations, as well as the fall of downed targets (debris) at eight locations.
A new group of enemy UAVs has been detected in the northeast, and the Air Force has been warned.
