Air Defense Forces Neutralized 133 of 153 Drones Used by Russia to Attack Ukraine

Russian troops attacked Ukraine at night with various types of attack drones. Thanks to the work of air defense, the lion’s share of enemy targets was destroyed.

From 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, the enemy attacked with 153 Shahed, Gerbera type strike UAVs and drones of other types from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, Shatalovo (Russian Federation), Chauda, Gvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and about 90 of them were Shahed type drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 on Monday, December 15, the air defense system had shot down/suppressed 133 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.

17 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 10 locations.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones in the airspace.

By the way, in total, the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 980 people . The enemy also lost two tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, 653 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, a unit of special and 207 units of automotive equipment.
