Air defense forces neutralized 215 of 236 Russian drones, with hits recorded at 13 locations.

On the night of June 7, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 236 attack drones of various types. Air defense forces managed to destroy or suppress most of the aerial targets, but hits were also recorded.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
According to military data, the enemy used attack drones such as the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas, as well as Parodiya drone impersonators. The launches were carried out from Russian territory, as well as from the temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region and Crimea.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were deployed to repel the attack.
As of 08:30, Ukrainian air defenses have destroyed or suppressed 215 enemy drones in the north, east, and south of the country.
At the same time, 17 strike drones were recorded hitting 13 locations. Additionally, debris from downed targets was recorded falling at another nine locations.
The Air Force emphasized that the air attack is ongoing, and enemy drones remain in Ukrainian skies. Citizens are urged not to ignore air raid sirens and to observe safety regulations.
