Air defense forces neutralized 439 drones and 39 missiles that Russia used to attack Ukraine.

On the night of October 5 (from 8:00 p.m. on October 4), the enemy launched a combined attack on Ukrainian territory using attack UAVs, air-, sea-, and land-based missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

In total, the Air Force’s radio-technical troops detected and tracked 549 air attack assets:

• 496 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type (drones of other types) in the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation, Kacha – TOT Crimea, about 250 of them are “shaheds”;
• 2 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” from the airspace of the Lipetsk region – Russian Federation;
• 42 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles (launch areas: Samara, Kursk, Bryansk regions – Russian Federation);
• 9 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.

The main direction of attack is Lviv region.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 14:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 478 air targets:

• 439 hostile UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber type (drones of other types);
• 1 aeroballistic missile Kh-47 M2 “Dagger”;
• 32 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles;
• 6 Kalibr cruise missiles.

In addition, six enemy missiles did not reach their targets (location of the lost impact sites is being clarified).

Direct hits from 8 missiles and 57 attack UAVs were recorded at 20 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (debris) at 6 locations.

As a reminder, Russian infidels launched a massive attack on the Ivano-Frankivsk region on the night of October 5 , hitting critical infrastructure facilities.

Furthermore, on the night of October 5 , Russian infidels launched a combined attack on Lviv . As a result, the enemy-held part of the city was left without power, and the Sparrow Industrial Park is burning.

Also in the village of Lapaivka in the Lviv region, a family of four was killed as a result of Russian shelling , including a 15-year-old girl.

The Russians also attacked an industrial facility in the Vinnytsia region .
