Air defense forces neutralized 503 air targets during Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine.

On the night of December 27, Russian forces launched a massive air strike on Ukraine, using cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as attack drones. The Kyiv region was the primary target.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

In total, the enemy launched 40 missiles and 519 drones of various types, including approximately 300 “shahids.” Air defense forces were able to destroy or suppress 503 aerial targets.

In particular, 474 drones, six Iskander-M and Kinzhal ballistic and aeroballistic missiles, four Iskander-K or Kalibr cruise missiles, and 19 Kh-101 missiles were neutralized.

Ten missile and 25 drone strikes were recorded at 30 locations, and debris impacts were recorded at 16 locations. One missile missed its target, and information about the 15 drones is being clarified. Some enemy drones remained in Ukrainian airspace for the day.

The Air Force called on citizens not to ignore alarms and to observe safety regulations.

As a result of a massive Russian attack on Kiev, one person was killed and another 28 people were injured.

As a reminder,on the night of December 27, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The shelling resulted in the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure, and there were casualties. According to updated reports, the number of wounded in the capital has risen to 11, including a 16-year-old child.
