Air defense forces have neutralized 97 of the 115 drones used by the Russians to attack Ukraine since the evening of September 26.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
From 9:00 PM on Friday, September 26, the Russians attacked Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea) with 115 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of attack UAVs, more than 70 of which were drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 on Saturday, September 27, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 97 UAVs in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
Hits from 17 attack drones were recorded at six locations, as well as the fall of downed targets (debris) at two locations.
The attack continues, and the Air Force has warned of new groups of attack UAVs in the north.
As a reminder, Russian occupation forces again attacked Ukrainian railways on the night of September 27. This time, the infrastructure targeted was in the Odesa region.
