Air defense forces neutralized seven missiles and 240 drones used by the Russian Federation to attack Ukraine

Air defense forces neutralized two Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 240 UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that on the night of January 13 (from 18:00 on January 12), the enemy attacked with 18 ballistic “Iskander-M”/anti-aircraft guided missiles S-300 from Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh regions – the Russian Federation, TOT of Crimea, 7 “Iskander-K” missiles from Kursk and Belgorod regions – the Russian Federation, as well as 293 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – the Russian Federation, Kacha – TOT of the AR of Crimea, about 200 of them – “Shaheeds”.
“The enemy launched ballistic strikes from four locations in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kyiv regions,” the report says.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:30, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 247 targets: 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 240 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
Ballistic/anti-aircraft missile hits and 48 strike UAVs were recorded at 24 locations.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
