Air defense forces shot down 29 of 37 Russian drones during an overnight attack.

On the night of February 19, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 37 attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed 29 enemy targets.

The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

According to military data, the enemy used Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other UAVs. The launches were carried out from the Kursk and Bryansk regions (Russia), as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk. About 20 of the launched drones were Shaheds.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned aerial systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, were involved in repelling the air attack.

As of 8:30 a.m., 29 UAVs have been confirmed destroyed or suppressed in the north, south, and east of the country. Attack drones have also been recorded hitting four locations.
