Air defense neutralized 98 out of 120 Russian drones: hits were recorded at 21 locations

On the night of August 11, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 120 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerber, and Parody drones. Air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 98 enemy UAVs.
This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is known that the attack began on August 10 at around 6:00 p.m. Russia also used Zircon missiles and Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles on Zaporizhia and Kyiv. The drone launches were carried out from the territory of the Russian Federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In particular, as of 9:00 a.m. on August 11, debris from downed targets was recorded at five locations, as well as airstrikes at 21 locations. Several enemy drones were still in Ukrainian airspace.
It was previously reported that Russian troops launched missile strikes on Kyiv and Zaporizhia overnight. The capital was attacked with ballistic missiles, and the enemy used missiles and aerial bombs on Zaporizhia.
